Fable: Farm to table

Fable Kitchen on Urbanspoon

Food Brunch; dinner

Ambiance Warm and friendly; Could do with more aisle space

Price Comparable to higher end  cafe prices; ~$10-$15

Overall Definitely will be back perhaps for dinner; I would say one of my favourite brunch spots in Van

Sara had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Needless to say, it was amazing. The yolk was perfectly half-cooked and the side of risotto was crunchy but could have been served slightly warmer. The salad had a great balance to it, it was neither too sour nor too oily.

I had the omelette with bacon, cheese and mushrooms, which was rather ordinary but the upside was that it was not too salty. The salad and risotto were standard for most of the brunch options. The garlic bread was well done with actual garlic slices embedded in it.

At the end of the meal we decided that Fable is definitely one of the better brunch places in Vancouver and we will return to try its dinner menu!
